“What’s that?” Noticing and wondering |

|
In this chapter we see children whose attention is attracted to some event: a sound, a movement, an invitation to change course. In some cases, the attraction is strong and instantaneous. In others, it is merely fleeting. With adults nearby, children can explore new territory. Nature lovers everywhere can share their knowledge about plants and animals, rocks, seas, rivers, fields, and forests. In urban environments, there are buildings, streets and bridges to find out about from builders, architects, and engineers. Previous: Childern where they are | Next: Investigating and recording |
